Can someone help me with Zwift and my KK trainer
MODS, I reposted in the proper forum. Thanks!
Heya folks, I want to start using Zwift and currently use a Kurt Kinetic Road Machine-not the smart one just the regular Road Machine. I've been reading and have just become more confused.
Can anyone advised what I need to order to get Zwift going and project it to my TV/Tablet. I'm thinking I need the In-ride adapter from Kurt and a subscription to Zwift. Is there anything else I'd need to get going besides that?
Many thanks!

The Inride 3 will work fine with Zwift, I have one on my KK dumb trainer (so is it smarter now?). To get the power close to accurate, you'll need to do the spin-down test, maybe more than once. The reported power isn't nearly as accurate as other trainers, but it does work. I picked up an Ant+ dongle and a USB extension cable so that the dongle is fairly close to the Inride. Install zwift, plug in the USB cable, start zwift, select the Inride and you're good to go.
Resist the urge to make it more complicated than that. Sure, you can buy a fancy smart trainer if you want, but it isn't necessary. After you've zwifted (is that a word?) for a while you'll know whether or not your fairly economical setup is sufficient for your needs.
