Band on Bikes

I didn't know exactly where to put this so I guess Alt Bike Culture section is as good as any.

It is a short video of a band on bicycles at the recent Flower Festival at Zundert in the Netherlands.

Portland Band 'Blind Pilot' did a Series of gigs a few summers ago riding their bikes between dates ,

Weather proof trailer-case for the Bass Viol was innovative .

I'm guessing the bikes are "Oompahlympics" models...

There's been a riding army band for almost a century and it's not French. At least it explains some helmet wearing showing up in Dutch cycling statistics.

Maybe this is more practical for playing an instrument:

That''s good enough for me.

I have a friend who rides an almost 50 of year old folding Raleigh 20, 3 speed with a 3/5 size concert harp strapped to her back between gigs here in Norwich.

I'm surprised you all don't know about Bicycle, the rock band. I think they're out of Boston. Can't find the website now, but they used to (don't know if they're still around anymore) bike to their gigs with a support band in tow with equipment. Their site had said they gave concerts along the east coast.
