I had a pair, and they didn't stay on very long!

I've been using them for almost a year. They work great and I see about a 15-20 watt reduction but only about 1/3 of the drop is really useable.

Never understood these things ("drop bar-ends"), never will. If one wants drop bars, get a bike with/designed for drop-bars, and use appropriate brifters or brake levers/shifters. "Drop bar-ends" -- worst of both worlds. A 'drops' and/or 'hoods' position, without access to brakes/shifting. Don't get it.
Pretty straightforward, to my mind.

I have a Haibike Urban Plus that I was trying to make more "aggressive" with a longer stem and lower stance. My knees don't hit them while sitting but if I am out of the saddle for whatever reason, I have to be a little careful.
I looked into doing a drop bar conversion but given that I had hydraulic brakes with sensors hardwired into my computer and tail lights, it would be very complicated and expensive since I had 10 speed dyna-sys too. I only get into the drops when I know/pray I won't be needing to brake.

My view of 'drop bar endz' remains the same.
