$1900 each? I’ll take 2

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

For the price of a bike, you too can have a pulley.

I know it seems steep, but it’s not just pulleys, it’s the whole system.

If I'd won that 1.6 billion dollar Magamillions, I'd consider it.

Arguably the most marginal of gains. So marginal, perhaps unquantifiable.

But remember: as the wheels are 3D printed, those spokes are hollow. THE GRAMS SAVED

I agree, reduced friction and better chain angle, but it’s not 2k worth of improvement...as stated marginal. Better wheels would be a far better ROI.

I am sure whoever bought these already has "better wheels".
Probably LIGHTWEIGHT MILLENSTEIN or similar.

Hmm. Reminds me of the hype around some of those $20,000 audiophile speaker cables.

I'll bet you can reduce your power output by 0.0000000000000000000000002 watts.

But what about the weight penalty? It seems that getting the larger diameter pulleys up to speed would sap some acceleration! Remember, no mass is more important than rotating mass!

I think the larger pulley wheels are designed to provide less extreme chain angles. So the theory is the chain is more efficient as it rotates through the rear derailleur. The longer arm on the system is supposed to do the same thing for the rear cog....less extreme angle. The wheel in this case (printed in titanium and hollow) is supposed to be lighter, and of course the ceramic bearings are super smooth.

but at 2K, I'm getting another bike or something!

Not just speaker cables, but interconnects and power cables too. Some people have a lot more money than sense.
