1356 for August, which makes 5 out of the last 6 months for me. This month was my all time record, beating my previous best (June 2014) by 12 miles.

It's not as much as what I was shooting for but it's over 1,000. We're still in our hurricane/rainy season so I've had a few more rained out ride days or rides cut short because of thunderstorms then I expected. I ended up with 1,033 miles for August, which makes 5 for the year for me, although they're not consecutive.

I'm at 1065 for August and will go out for another 10-15 miles this evening, so I've got my 3rd straight 1000+ month.

It's a banner year for riding - I'm approaching 7000 miles since January 1. I am faster and have more endurance than at least since 2011. It feels GREAT.

Sometimes I think it's a bit crazy spending so much time on the bike, when I have so many other things I should be doing. But the payoff is rich. I did a fast 90 mile club ride on Sunday and towards the end, others were talking about how worn out they were, but I was still feeling fresh and did a bunch of the pulling in the last few miles.

I did 1711km, so around 1063 miles for August. Most of that came from doing my first 1200K so that was pretty exciting. Might crack it again in September with another tour that starts on Monday.

Sorry peeps.
A medical issue broke my 4 month streak.
Sept will be tough because of fam vacation.
Really have to stick to the plan in Aug.

1121 miles for September, 8821 year to date. Shooting for 10600 which would be a PB for me.

Managed to squeak by in September with 1012 miles on the month. If October stays nice I'll try for it again but work is likely to ruin the little 3 month streak I have going.

Thanks to a pesky hurricane named Irma, I was forced off the bike for 8 days. Didn't quite get the 1,000 miles this month but all things considering, 838 miles isn't that bad.

Well done, John! That's a good month considering the weather. September was probably my last 1k month until next spring. I have a busy schedule this month, then short & cold days coming in Nov/Dec. Good luck to you for the rest of the year.

Thanks Jeff,

I'm not starting off the month on a good foot. My last ride was on Saturday morning and that night I started coming down with a chest cold that I acquired from my son. I'm not a happy camper. I've been bombarding it with all sorts of cold remedies so here's hoping it gets a hint and leaves soon.

We've had some decent weather this October so I managed to get in some longer rides to make up for the days I was out sick. I also got in a 230 mile ride this weekend that carried me over the 1K mark to 1,076 miles, which included today's 40 mile ride.

I just checked my Strava records and found that September was a "not too much riding month" with 5 rides equaling 438.

Knowing that February's 2018 Bike Sebring 12/24 Hours Bike Sebring 12/24 is quickly approaching, I decided I had to kick my preparation into high gear.

20 rides in October for 1658 miles.

Yesterday was my first ride for November with a 163 miler done. Have a half marathon and cruise later this month that's going to hamper things so have to make sure I ride plenty of triple digit days.

Didn't get to ride on Thanksgiving day and Black Friday, as I had hoped. That, along with a few bad weather days at the beginning of the month, put a little damper in my total for the month but I still managed to break 1,000.

Didn't get 1,000 miles for December, but then again, I wasn't really trying. Ended up with 749 miles for the month (1,205 km) and 11,456 miles for the year. I don't think I'll be doing that much next year since we have a 3 week trip to Italy planned for August and a week in Alaska in June or July.
