Here are a couple more pics from the Mammoth Mash race that Duane and Rico mentioned earlier! It was a crazy muddy mess, but overall it was an odd kind of fun. I think the people with vbrakes, and/or mechanical discs had more pains than those with hydraulic. So much mud!!

i look slow... probably because i was slow. First ever race, got no sleep, had to wake up at 2 to leave around 4. probably shoulda prerode the course... wasn't ready for that. but i'm definitelycomming back next year!

I would love to do that race but I have a 1/2 ironman in Rhode Island on 9/9 and the Vermont 50 on 9/30.
I am kind of saving up for those two weekends.
I am probably going to do the local xterra sprint race in august sometime just for fun (well actually, there all just for fun).
I'll be back in richmond next year for the championship race unless something crazy happens .
they are very well run events.
