A nice aluminum frame?
Does anyone make a nice aluminum frame with fairly aggressive geometry? I would rather have a really nice aluminum one than a mediocre carbon one, and it seems like my current frame is on its last legs...
Thanks in advance for suggestions.

My FP2 is aluminum with some carbon bits. Profile is pretty aggressive (basically the same as the Prince).

What's your price range? I'm pretty happy with my Eddy Merckx Team SC. The current equivalent in his lineup would be the Premium. But, it ain't cheap....

I just picked up a BMC street fire, I will post build pix and a ride report when it gets put together but I'm still collecting parts at the moment.
I was looking long and hard at C-dale six/13 and Caad9's I was also dreaming of picking up a carbon Ridley Excalibur, or a Orbea Onix. Keep an eye out on used framesets seems people are breaking up with anything aluminium these days.

i have 13000km on my streetfire ssx, excellent, responsive. Tested bombproof frame-paintcoat but with too many logos, you'd better pick plain-looking wheels, white bartape and saddle

Yes, most of us have heard of them. They make bicycle and accessories, and have been around for many years. Check them out here:

Very nice bikes for a good price.

on a side note...im looking at groups....I know caad9 FD are 34.9mm...but should i just get brazz on, get the adapter, then if/when i switch out frames i do not have to worry about getting a whole new FD?
