Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shimano Flight Deck computer and bracket/button kit for the DA levers I got a couple weeks ago. At 75% off, I figure I'll give it a shot.

Nice score enjoi! I thought i was getting a good deal on a rival crankset, slightly used, no bb, for $100. But $150 for new Force cranks is even better!

Unfortunately this idiot paid retail. It does fit really nice and I got it from REI, so eventually I'll have that 10% back. It needed a thermal base layer in the 38 degree ride yesterday, but has much better temp regulation that my previous jacket (just hot, then cold from sweating). It'll be nice into the low 30's to high 20's, and it rarely gets any cooler here. It'll also be a great 45-55 jacket with just a jersey under.

Just ordered some more CB Quattro pedals from bonktown.com for $50. Discontinued, yes, but I'm building up my stash (again -- I got another pair last time I saw them on bonktown, so, counting the pair on the bike, I'll have three sets).
