Oh, I forgot to mention, I borrowed a bike from a friend of a friend of mine to ride to the job interview. It was this big assed clunky Mongoose 24 speed with "Lightweight Alloy Mountain Bike" labeled on the side. This POS had to weigh over 75 pounds. I was DYING going up and down the hills here, no matter what gear it was in. I totally see why people decide they don't like riding a bike after they buy one of those monstrosities.
Good news on the personal front, my brother called me last night and let me kow my grandmother is safe in a nursing home in Beaux Bridge, LA. I have no idea where that is though. :/
It's so weird here. I've only seen maybe three bikes chained to poles here, but I haven't seen ANYONE riding in Montgomery. I'm used to seeing tons of people riding around in New Orleans. Another day of the Library and the mall. I just wish I could bring myself to BUY something. We're also going to stop at the Red Cross today and see what's up. The sad thing is, next to my bike, the thing I miss most is porn. lol I can't access it here at the library, and even if I could.. there's not a whole lot I can do in a public forum like this. lol

My SR seatpost was trumped by prodigal sons Campy, but that's...okay. If it had been an old Peugeot I could have offered more. Still looking forward to the pics.

I will get my seat out this week. I'm also going to put together a package of other stuff.... I have a hang 1 for him to hang the bike on, a basic multitool, lights, oil, rain pants (it's like extra large, so it should fit) and... does he need some knobby tires, because I've got a pair of those too. I'm also sending a hand pump.
All of these are brand new... just stuff I picked up over time and never used. I'm a ****.
I'm still slowly unpacking, so I'm just putting together a pile of stuff that I'm not using. It may grow...

I was going to ship in a stem and aero levers, but it sounds like you've already got some levers. I'll send just the stem today during my lunch hour then.
It's a 1" threaded stem. Will this work with the fork and headset you're planning on using?

Crankset went out priority mail yesterday afternoon. Standard 144bcd, square taper, nothing special, but they should work.
