Oops Cannondale R2000: sometimes you lose
So I got this mostly as a could not resist excursion for the parts (full tri-color, plus wheels and early Ultegra brifters) but hoped to maybe sell the frame? Umm...nope. Did not want to back out and figured I’d probably save someone else from a horrible disfiguring accident...
anyone need a carbon fork for a ‘Dale? Haha.
$100 won’t kill me...the frame might have...
Dents...ok. Knew about those...
What the poop??? Looks like a failure ready to happen...

It's the crimping of the dent on the seat stay. I'd have ridden it, but the sides of the indentation are somewhat sharpening...

Interesting, considering it is aluminum... I thought that dimples were more catastrophic to Cannondales/et al. than steel...I'll have to check alignment before putting my life at risk for the sake of the postulation, however.

I certainly wouldn't ride it, dents can happen but that's an extremely large number. With that much damage I'd also wonder what the fork has been through and hold off riding it. Nice price for all the parts, but I'd toss the frame.

That is one certainly beat-ass frame; it's almost like someone was sorta half-heartedly attacking it with a 9-iron or something.
I bet it'd hold up under normal riding though. As said above, those frames are pretty tough. Either way, $l00 for that group is a solid deal

That stay looks like it's ready to buckle. It may not kill you but why bother with it? You could waste a lot of time building the thing up to ride and never be comfortable with it. I'd strip it, cut it up and move on.

I'd ride it and just keep an eye on the dents, as several people have already suggested. Seatstays don't undergo much stress, especially compared to chainstays.
