A Centurion Professional from the seventies. Here is the link: https://steel-vintage.com/products/c...e-1970s-detail
They make some serious claims for the quality of this particular model. I am a little skeptical as much as I love Centurions (and have owned
several). The highest quality ones I have seen are the Cinelli made one, the Turbo Time Trial which I have two of and the Prestige which I have
owned. Oh and also the Turbo regular.

Thank you Curbtender and Vintage Cyclist for the answer. The only other pinstriped Centurion I have seen was my 1978 Centurion Omega that looked exactly like this:

BTW do these Centurion carbon frames have 130mm or 126mm rear drop outs?

My point being that this is The Ironman thread.

Me and my stock ‘85 IM Sunday at Eroica CA.

126mm.
however mine has been spread to accommodate a Dura Ace 8 speed cassette (130mm) as I have equipped it with Dura Ace 8 speed groupset.

Please remember that this is an Ironman only thread. Please publish any other Centurion inquiries in their own thread.

Thank you.

Since only Ironman bikes are allowed to be posted or talked about here can the moderator please go back and delete all the posts that cover non-Ironman material on this thread? Because otherwise it seems to be sending a double message that is confusing and shows favortism. If you really mean to be strict then shouldn't this apply to all members?

sfw, you’ll find that any non IM bikes here are precursors or descendants of IMs: Comp TA, Equipe, Diamond Back TG, the Carbon R

Ha ha ha....yeah right. So then I guess its okay to post Comp TA, Equipe, Diamond Back TG, the Carbon R?
I repeat my question: Is anyone going to take down all the previous posts? It is not only confusing but it is obvious that the standard does not apply to everybody equally. It is just favortism.
This is what ruins this forum. Oh well I am sure that this unfair practice will be ignored. Says more about other people than me.

That won't be happening. Our small, all volunteer and unpaid moderator staff simply have better things to do. We simply ask that you just follow the request in the future.

Pics please pics.
This thread lives for pics.
With pics we may not be able to determine the year you bought it but we can tell you the year it was released.

Howdy markwesti,
Any chance you keep good records and have the part numbers for the correct front and rear hub cones? I have an 86 that I’m rebuilding. Thanks.
