Greetings from Franconia, Germany
Hello there. Lifelong cyclist here, but have just recently got into restoring and rebuilding oldish frames. There seems to be a lot of expertise here so I'm joining up. I'm originally from the north of the UK but have lived in Middle Franconia, Germany for a good number of years. I ride mass participation events, a bit of touring, a bit of bike packing, some mountainbiking and plenty of road miles with friends or on my own. Bike-wise, I have a Wold Cycles Elm steel cross/hybrid that was built for me in 2015, a Mason Cycles Definition for the road, a couple of GT Zaskars from the 90s and 00s, a Creme Cycles city machine and now an old Trek 750 I'm currently in the process of rebuilding. The current MTB 29er thing has passed me by. Former bikes have included a Hoffman Big Daddy, a Trek 7000 MTB, a Scott Genius full suspension, a Drössiger aluminium road bike, a couple of old steel 10 speeds, a Raleigh Burner and a Grifter, so that dates me well and good. Pleased to meet you all!
