NYC Bike Shops?
I'll be in NY this week and I'm looking to hit some of the cooler shops and pick up some gear that I might not be able to find up here in Toronto.
Any suggestions?

In Lower Manhattan, I've explored and enjoyed: Bike Works NYC, 106 Ridge St., https://www.bikecult.com - small, funky shop
and: Bicycle Habitat, 224 Lafayette Street, https://www.bicyclehabitat.com/ - large shop

Bike Works is a great dusty, tiny shop. The owner, Dave Perry, has a long, knowledgable history.
Conrads is an excellent small, nice, high-performance shop. With a gorgeous old Gios in the window.
NYC Velo is neat, Continuum is cool, Trackstar is Trackstar.
eh, the list can go on for days.
