good tires for 24" wheels?

I don't like the tires that came with my stock Fit Chromo 24"

what are good (puncture resistant) tires that I can find for this bike?

Run your tires at the max psi rating and you wont get flats.

You fell because you're from Florida, not because your tires were pumped to high pressure.

Pump up your tires to max psi on side wall. If you want the extra grip, get knobby tires.

Exactly. And even with max psi, i end up blowing a lot of tubes. Mostly because they're like the $4 Bell ones, and they always tear at the seams when they get up to that high pressure. I really like my new extra thick tubes though.

THanks MY26INCHCRUISER for the suggestion. On the Danscomp website, however, it says those are rated at 100psi. I would like to ride my tires at a low/comfy pressure. I like to FEEL the road and ROLL over it. There are definitely such things as puncture resistant tires. At least, I know we have them in 700c road tires. My Maxxis Re-Fuse 23mm will not flat, as low as I run them, or as badly as I have worn them. I will check out the Odyssey, as they do have lower knobs than what I have now. I would at least prefer the feel, but I don't run my current tires at 100...prob 60. I'd like to have them around 40 or 50

Have you ran them over broken glass? Nails? Broken boxes of boxcutters?

You can run these at 60 psi
When I go on the dirt,I lower them to 60 and pump them up to 100 when on the street.

I'll back up MY26INCHCRUISER's choice. I run the Ody Aitken 24" up front & the Ody Path 24" in back. I run them both at 60-70 psi & it works great for me.
Personally people who run low psi (60 or less) really bug me. Just a pet peeve of mine.
