Tredlodz, great costume! We also decorated our bike as a batmobile a couple of years ago. Our local Hosteling International club has an annual Tombstone Ride (yes, we visit graveyards). One of our tandem friends dressed as villains, so we were able to keep Gotham Toledo safe!
We didn't get any particular good photo's, but here's one. We couldn't decide if the stoker was Robin or Catwoman. We did have a Batman plastic container on the handlebars with treats. One of our favorite moments was watching an oncoming car stop, turn back around, pass up and stop to get out to take photo's.
I think your costume was better than ours! Lots of fun!

Darn,
I thought we were the first ever...
We got lucky that it was cool enough to ride 45 miles before needing some attire adjustment. (Holy batsuit batman - we need ventilation). It's not always cool enough in Texas.
We also had a little girl have her Mom stop the car so she could get a better photo...

So we're almost a couple....
That's Mortimer in the Stoker's spot and Fred is the Parrot in the handle bar bag. We did a Halloween breakfast run that started before dawn and then rode around our neighborhood Halloween evening. Mortimer was very well received.
In the light....
In the dark.... https://s143.photobucket.com/albums/r152/crankyolddude/Mortimer/?action=view¤t=MVI_2337.mp4 This was a "last minute" type of deal. Next year I shall have a Pirate Costume of sorts for myself giving the good ship "The Golden Goose" a somewhat better look. I'm also considering rigging a tape player with the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song on a continuous loop.

Ok, so technically it's a "happy tandem trio!"
Here is Iron Man Tyler himself with me on my tandem. We are taking Nana's doggie (Maggie, a Westie) to the doggie park about 1/3 miles away. That's Maggie in the back pack that I'm carrying.
I'm not sure who had more fun at the dog park, Maggie or Tyler.
My money is on Tyler.

We upgraded with this (new to us) Burley Rock n Roll that we found last week on Craigslist. It is in immaculate shape, and the fellow who owned it was so nice .... a true pleasure to work with.
No ride pictures yet, but I did get a few of our garage door.
I hope to get out as often as possible this year with my sweetie.
Take care~

Hey Rick, my garage door rehabilitation fund went toward buying the bike!
Next time I'll use my neighbor's freshly painted garage door as a background

Your set up is more normal looking, and may provide more adjustments.

bobthib - it is a 1" threaded to 1 1/8" threadless adapter with a high rise threadless stem.
I have since replaced it with a Nitto 1" quill stem. The result is about the same, but I think the look is a bit sleeker.
BTW - I don't know if I should show my wife your stoker's footrest .... she might want one just like it!
