angry boser? those dont look that great on mk2's. never seen one pulled off and look clean.

or are you talking about something like a kamei grille spoiler (aka eyebrow) like my car has in the first post of this thread. some people also do a lower grille spoiler type mod where they use a jetta grille trim piece on single rounds. looks mean, like this -

tektoo2's car. soooo mean

they are ecode fluted glass. the cross hair puts a little different beam pattern on them though. they make crystal, and smoked crystal that is non fluted and people retrofit hid projectors into them and make hid's with projector lenses and it looks pretty sick. heres a pic from a buddy of mine that did it years ago.

Don't have my bike yet and don't have a VW but this is a video of me at Sebring when I had my 88 M3. (I'm in the white one). In-car video is E46 M3.

https://video.google.com/videoplay?do...1771&q=Sebring

or here (with my father in the Henna M3 behind me)

ah...memories:

They are Weber 45 carbs. Those are not ITB's. Turbos and SC's are cool and all, but a well tuned carb'd 16v is a beast on the track with much better throtle response and a better power curve. For the track, I would go carbs or ITB's and all motor anyday over force fed.

they are carbs. there are no injectors unless you get real loose with terminology and call a jet an injector.
maybe the air horns are making you think they are individual throtttle bodies.
#1 about naturally aspirated 16v having better throttle response and a better power curve for road racing.

1980's Panasonic Track 4000. Soon to be full Miche.

1987 VW Scirocco 16v. Lower end was a 9a 2.0 block out of a Passat (I think) with a PL top. Techtonics exhaust. Great car. But, the core support and inner fenders were swiss cheese, so I sold it to my friend.

1979 VW Rabbit diesel. 1.5l diesel. Rusted to **** and back. This is what the guy I sold it to turned it into.

For me, it's A1 chassis or nothing. I drive a '92 Jetta right now and hate it. It's getting sold mid-August. I'll hopefully be replacing it with either another Scirocco or a Cabby. Regardless I'll put another 2.0 16v in, dump it, and enjoy the hell out of it.

When we had this thread a year or two ago it got locked... huh...

eh, i dunno about white trash cars. i see plenty of new VWs (rabbits, gti's) driving around london by fairly normal people, it seems. older ones, maybe. but there are smaller ****tier cars for that, as well.

Eurotrash is a derogatory term used in American English, referring to certain young, relatively wealthy Europeans traveling around the world on their parents' money, who have a general disdain for hard work, personal initiative, Americans, and entrepreneurship.

sorry, nope. you seem to have a good wrap on what's white trash though

Here is the last VW I owned and the latest bicycle that I bought. The VW was a '91 gti 8v that had a VR6 swap, a LSD, 6 speed tranny, etc. I didn't like it so I sold it.
