I just passed 1000K for January on my ride today, giving me 631 miles for the month with one more day to go. I also try to ride at least one metric century each month and accomplished the January metric (62.6 miles) on my birthday ride about two weeks ago.

April is my first 1000 km month this year (last year I managed 4 such months, starting with March). I'm now at 1034 km, with one Saturday still left.
I did a 400 km brevet last weekend. I rode 30 km to a hotel near the start the night before and the same distance back home soon after finishing, for 460 km total that weekend. Two weeks before that I pre-rode most of the brevet route for another 400 km. That plus a 120 km half-day Sunday ride on another weekend got me most of the way to 1000 km.

I missed January, but managed over 1,000 km in Feb, March and April. I'll come in around 1,700 km for April which will be my 3rd highest single month total ever. Having a 300 fall on the last day of the month helps as the first of those usually isn't until May. My distance can vary a lot depending whether I'm in a road or mountain bike mood, riding time tends to be more consistent.

706 miles in April. Unfortunately I have calendar conflicts with most of the local brevets this month, which will keep my miles down....

I am above 620mi for the months of Jan/Mar/April/June 2016. Not sure what happened in Feb, probably colder than Jan as best explanation. May was vacation for 16 days, no cycling. Was at 623 on 6/21/16, so should be around 850-900 for the month. Being
retired makes this much easier.

Just barely squeaked out 1000 last month. Worst May weather I can remember, wind gusting to 50 and 60 kph every other day. I rode more in February than I did in May, and May was the only month this year that I didn't set a new monthly distance PR. 1,260 km so far for June.
By the end of July, 2016 will be my second highest annual distance. I've found gravel riding does wonders for my motivation. Limited paved highway options so I tend to get burned out riding those routes all the time.

Just about to finish off my first 1000km month. 100km left to go. Rode for the Great Cycle Challenge. Raised over $1200 for sick kids with cancer.

I'll hit the 1000K mark on my way home from work tonight. It was tough getting here this month because I didn't ride at all during the first two weeks of July. In fact, the only reason I made it is because I set it as a goal about a week ago when I had only logged 300 miles for the month.
It took putting in 350 miles in 7 days to reach the mark. I never would have done that had it not been for this thread. So, thanks.

1,000 in for September already, making 7 of 9 months. Missed July by 5 km, every year my distance takes a dip in July since I can't stand the heat. So far I've set monthly distance PRs in 6 of 9 months, and this month should make 7. I'm about 3 rides away from surpassing my previous annual distance PR of 11,300 km.

I somehow just noticed this thread when it got bumped today.
January: 1,335km
February: 1,501km
March: 1,490km
April: 1,558km
May: 1,624km
June: 1,687km
July: 1,553km
August: 1,836km
September: 1,289km (as of 9/19)
YTD: 13,874km, 105,311m^
I definitely like the metric number better than the imperial... except for the climbing. Almost everything looks more impressive.

For years I rode more than 1000 kms every month, but about 2 yrs ago I relaxed a bit - still always rode over 700 a month though. This month I've reached 1000 already, for the 4th time this year.

Reached 1,000 for October, no thanks to what has to be a record cold month. Most of my rides were under 6 °C, and on my rigid mtb, because not only has it been cold, its been a wet month with rain just often enough it never really dries up.

Got November's 1,000 finished much faster than October's. Two weeks of fantastic fall weather, even did my first ever November 200. Weather is supposed to stay above freezing until about this coming Thursday.

Got a second 1,000 done for November. Only the second time I've ever had over 2,000 km in a month. 160 short of my personal best single month distance. But the arrival of winter tomorrow will let that record stand for a while longer.
