1993 Bridgestone RB-1 Restomod
1993 Bridgestone RB-1 restomod built by professional bike mechanic wearing the original paint. Reproduction stickers added in black (original was white)
50cm seat tube ctc, 52cm tt ctc
SQ Lab 312 seat
Origin 8 carbon fork
Full 105 10 speed. Shifters have seen better days but functional. Shifts great despite the scratches on the shifters
Praxis Zayante carbon crank with levatime II 50-34 compact double.
36-11 cassette(s)
Two wheelsets
-WTB dx23 clinchers (training set)
-Velocity a23 rims on orbwheels hubs, aero spokes set up tubeless
At heaviest with flat BMX pedals and training wheels, it weighs right on 20lbs. With light wheels and pedals its closer to 18.5. Not bad for a steel frame.
Built in 2020 when I only had one kid. Used regularly through 2021/beginning of 22. Now have two kids and don't get to ride this at all, thinning the herd. Any questions please let me know!
