Lizard-Skinning my bars right now - does self-fusing tape go outside or inside?

I'm just starting to wrap my bars bottom to top with black Lizardskins and don't think I ever knew if the self-fusing tape finishes on the outside or underneath the 'skins. This is only the 3rd wrap I've done, and never with LS or Self-fusing tape.

Oooops. Shoulda thought to ask sooner. Any other suggestions specific to Lizard Skins?

One side done up to the finish tape, looked really neat and smooth ... then I read why I shouldn't stretch it. So off it came. I will wrap with more overlap and no stretching. Hope the damage isn't permanent.

NM. Ops, can I report my own thread as being embarrassingly ignored because it is so boringly useless and repetitively redundant that I want to slash my .... tires? This thread is closed to me.
