Did my first 50 miler
It's perfect weather for cycling today in Dallas. NO wind. 50 degrees when I started, about 65 when I ended. Avg 17.7 mph.

Nice work! I don't think you'll have any issues bumping up the distance. It's a good feeling when a 50 mile ride becomes just a regular ride.

Congrats! I remember my first 50, a charity ride about 7 summers ago. Done many since, along with metrics and full centuries (and six BikeMS 150's). It's one of the healthier addictions, although not the cheapest ;-).

How old are you? My fiancee (61) and I (67) have just transitioned into the range where 45-50 miles is our "regular ride", while 37 miles is our "short ride". It's a fine feeling, indeed, to reach that level. Congratulations!!! Stay hydrated and take frequent snack breaks.
