I could post some pictures and try to determine the exact model, if you're interested. It's stamped underneath and it still has the rectangular univega headbadge riveted on. I think this headbadge is from 70's model univegas

That kind of issue sucks. I've bought three frames from members here and all were as advertised. They were members I knew (virtually) and I made sure to confirm measurements. I bought one frame on eBay and, while the correct size, not the correct shape of a steerer tube (it was bent in the head tube ). That's 3-3 on BF and 0-1 on eBay. You can guess where I'll look for frames from now on.

I have been very lucky with the bay, 3 or 4 frames that were 90% correct as advertised and made right after the fact. Knock on wood.

Cinelli SC - 1974 53cm c-t
I received this frame from a friend quite some time ago with the intent of restoring it. He was the second owner, buying it in the late 70's. At some point he decided to "modernize" it with a pump peg, water bottle bosses, internal rear brake cable routing, and a new paint job. This is what it looked like when I received it:
I stripped most of the paint to inspect for rust and removed the newer braze-ons. A frame-builder friend of mine brazed the openings shut.
It does have some rust pitting, most of which seems to pre-date the modernization as evidenced by the green primer in the shallow pits. This is most evident on the fork blades:
But I seem to have run out of steam: I would really rather work on something in a size that I can ride, so I am offering this up for trade for something needing restoration in the 59cm to 61cm range or as partial trade for something in my size range that is in need of less work. But I have fairly restricted tastes so I have, for your browsing pleasure, a list of the sorts of bikes that interest me:
American builders - Weigle, Chapman, Bishop, Sachs, Della Santa, Pryor, Baylis, California Masi (and a few others no doubt)
Japanese custom builders - Nagasawa, Alps, Zunow, Cherubim, a few others I'm sure.
European builders - Singer, stamped-lug DeRosa, Pegoretti, also probably a few others.
You get the idea - mostly hand built frames with great workmansip. If you have something that isn't on this list but you think it might interest me please let me know!
Is this the most long-winded frame-doesn't-fit post yet?!

It's not on your American maker list, but I've got a vintage 60cm-ish frame that is pretty surely a Davidson (Seattle Frame builder). It was rattle can spay repainted when I bought it, I've partially stripped it, but like you, I have run out of steam, and seeking a new home for it. If potentially of interest, I can send pics. It takes a 27.2 seat tube.

Davidson is certainly a great frame builder but not at the top of my current list. For now I think I'll wait a while and see what else comes up.

1993 Trek 1200 for trade
It's aluminum, silver, 54cm,128mm dropouts (will fit a 126mm or 130mm axle. Unicrown cro-moly fork. I would like any brand frame /w fork that is 58cm with 128mm or 130mm dropout and 68mm or 73mm BB shell. Prefer shorter TT.
No dents, bruises or cracks. Paint is 7/10. Decals are fine. Missing head badge.has 7sp index downtube shifters,

Hey would anyone want my 55cm Bianchi Volpe as a bike or frame? I don't ride it any more. I figure I will strip off all dynamo lights and fenders before I pass it on, as I will reuse them elsewhere. The rear rack can stay or go. The paint is in pretty good shape, especially considering I'm not very careful with bikes. I'd say it's unusually durable paint.
Not sure what I'm interested in for an exchange. I have to think about that. I think 57cm might be my new ideal size.

Viscount frame 60/62 cm
Mid-70s Aerospace Pro Viscount frame 60 cm c to c / 62 cm c to t 57 cm c to c top tube
Filet brazed aircraft grade alloy tubing frame. NOS Tange Cro-Mo Chrome fork, New Tange headset
YST threadless sealed bottom bracket 113 mm. 126 mm rear drop outs
A few issues... rear hanger threads stripped, could not be re-tapped. Fitted with a "hanger-saver" (included)
Rear drop-outs are in tough shape and touch-up paint on seat stays & chain stays (rack & kickstand?)
Otherwise finish is in decent shape. Has a Viking decal set.... easily removed.
Needs long reach brakes. Plenty of room for fenders.
Looking for a larger 63 cm plus frame. Nothing fancy. Needs to straight and undamaged.

Too many classic road bikes and would love to have a nice cross machine. Would trade for this:
1987 Masi Nuova Strada Campagnolo Super Record 62cm Joe Bell Custom Paint Job Museum Quality
This is an almost perfect 86 to 88 Masi. There’s no way to tell for sure what year it is from the serial number, so I’ve always called it a 1987 Masi. It has a Joe Bell “JB” paint job that is just like glass. JB of San Diego is probably the most famous custom bike painter. When you run your finger over the decals, you cannot feel that there are decals under the clear coat. Joe also fitted the bike with a jet tube for the rear brake cable, with fittings on the head tube for the shift cable adjusters, a tire pump peg, and a chain hanger. Mostly NOS parts Campagnolo Super Record components. Includes rare Campy clipless pedals that are very rare and collectible.
NOTE1: The pictures really do not show how nice the paint job is. I have never seen better, its really quite impressive.
NOTE2: Selling because this bike is soo nice and I have same era and similar setups of Colnago and Guerciotti bikes that I use for regular ridiing. This bike deserves an owner that can show off and give more attention
NOTE3: I plan to put the proceeds to an equivalent cross bike and would consider a trade if it worked out.
Bike has only been riden on a few “show off” rides, the classic Wolber SL 19 Cotton tires are in era shop condition.
Just replaced saddle with a new Selle San Marco Regal Bicycle Saddle Brown Chamois Leather and copper bolts and rails. So not white saddle but brown chamois saddle will be included. Its very nice and really adds to this bikes classic look !
Also including a Campy record down tube bracket shifters so this bike can be returned to classic state, bar end shifters were added for easy ride shifting.
Here are all the details:

Time is running out....
Current project is approaching completion.
Next up, spreading stays and off to the powder coater for the 930 unless a 56cm Columbus frame is out there waiting for a last minute trade

fuji 84 touring series
Hello bikers
I have a Fuji 84 touring series frame with fork. Both were stuck with alum parts and we got them out but the seatpost, or at least 1/4 of it is still stuck on the frame. The size is a 64, hence is enormous for anyone I know (we all are in the 52-55 range) it suffer some damage from the removal of the seatpost, handerlbar post came out nicely. If anyone is interested we can offer it up for a trade or exchange. I am really happy with my bikes (at least now) but will say no for a new project for summer. Anyhow, message me if interested.

Agreed. Just my size. I'd be very interested except I'd first need to see that set cluster damage up close in person. Very troublesome.
