Calling all old striped cranks
I've got a set of '72 (maybe earlier) Campy Strada cranks that are stripped at the pedal. I've done heli-coils before, and plan on using them on these cranks, I just don't have the ~$100 to drop on a kit. If anyone has any cranks that they'd consider sending to me and getting returned fixed for a small fee. Please let me know.
Or, anyone that has the kit and would repair my cranks, also, please let me know.

Why don't you call around to your LBS's? Practically all of them in my area do helicoils. The price ranges from $15 to $30 bucks.

The closet bike shop I have is 30 miles away. Sadly. When I lived in Marquette MI I checked all three bike shops there and no one had them. I guess I could check the "LBS" and see if they do them.
