Wikipedia? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicycle_chain

Pitch is 1/2 inch, as with all modern chains.

I can see that I'm not going to get any helpful advice and so I'll get my calipers out. Thanks anyway!

The only thing that changes between brands and number of speeds is the width. Generally only the outside width changes, though with 11s (and maybe some 10s) there's a small difference in inside width, but not enough that there are fit issues on sprockets.

Things like pitch which is 1/2", roller diameter, and all sprocket related dimensions are highly standardized and controlled within very small tolerances. If that weren't true, there would be nightmarish issues of chains not running on sprockets.

BTW- the above applies to derailleur chains, which are all 1/2 x 3/32", except for 11s which may be 1/2 x 9/128". Single speed chains, which include IGH and coaster brake chains are normally 1/2 x 1/8", though some may use 3/32" chain to save weight.

I'm still curious what this dimensional data would be used for...

It must depend on the brand, but your correction of the math 11/128" is appreciated.

Single speed chains are the widest of all. 1/8″ (3.175 mm) wide, compared to 3/32″ (2.38 mm) multi speed ones (the inner roller width, between the inside of plates, not the overall outer chain width).

Outer width of a 10 speed chain is 6.2 mm for Campagnolo, and 5.88 for most other producers.

Length of one link of a new chain is exactly one inch (2.54 cm). That's a pair of inner and outer plates. Each rivet at exactly 1/2 inch.

Some good advice for just about any forum, wait more than a couple hours to throw a fit about getting help. No one here owes you, ask nicely, sometimes explain yourself in more detail when asked or when answers aren't pertinent, and wait more than 2 hours for good answers.
