Saddle suggestions for this Miyata?
Overhauling a 1985 310 at the moment (same color as shown) and it will need a new saddle. It originally came with a Selle Italia Mundialita Vinyl saddle. I'd go for one of those but haven't been able to find one in black. I'll be going with the same color scheme as original.
Ideas? Looking to spend no more than $50.
As an aside: Any recommendations for a similar water bottle?

I've used ISCASELLE Tornado saddles on mine, but they're out of your price range unless you score at a swap meet. It's a nice look. very retro but fast. For comfort, I've opted to use of the new Ergon pro saddles, which you can often find on deep discount, white or black, but msrp is ridiculous..

Curious, was just looking at something at PlanetX yesterday. They are offering leather Selle Italia Turbo saddles for $38.50 plus shipping. Probably a better saddle than the one you're looking for, I'm guessing. With shipping it may go over your price point, but shouldn't by much.

I wonder what they mean by "modern technology"?
It combines a classic look, sought after by those who want to bring their old steel frames back to life, with modern technology providing extra comfort.

Myself, I figure out what saddle fits ME best, and use that on bikes I ride. I don't try to recreate the original.

That makes sense, although I'm new to both riding bikes and overhauling vintage bikes, so I don't have much set in the way of preferences yet, so I figured my question would be a good starting point for me. Also don't necessarily care to recreate the original with this one, but the Mundialita seemed easy.

this one comes in black or brown suede or white. over your price point but it's on prime so it's under $60 with shipping

So my Turbo showed up today, bought from Selle Italia on Amazon at this link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0178GLO94...ding=UTF8&th=1
I can't tell what material this is, but it doesn't appear to look like the picture above. Seems to be some sort of suede. Are there different versions of this?
This site offers one in leather and one in Nubuk. I'm thinking mine may be Nubuk? No idea what that is, appears that it may be better quality than the regular leather?
The first photo is what I received. The second is what I excepted this to look like:

If you don't like the suede texture (I don't), no worries, it wears down to smooth leather in a few rides.

Yes you got the suede (nubuk). It's rubbed leather. I actually like them. I personally would have bought an NOS one at the link I provided previously.

I don't know if Selle Italia's 'nubuk' is the real thing, but nubuck leather is similar to suede, with the difference being that nubuck is sanded for its soft/velvety texture on the outside of the hide -- what would've been the outer surface of the animal's skin. Suede is sanded on the inside of the hide.
