Miyata 910 is a nice bike, but I don't think it was ever a $5000 bike and $500 seems a bit wishful.

The bars.....the bars......aaaaaaaaah![/QUOTE
We always called them DUI bars because most of the time some 40s construction worker type was riding around with a bike like that (which is great) but you could always tell the guys that had no choice in the matter!

We never said it wasn't a good deal? Just that guy thought the bike was carbon fiber. You could
lightly strike anywhere on the frame, and the "ding" would tell any fool it's full on steel.,,,,BD

Reminds me of one of those joke canes with rearview mirrors you see at party stores. I have never seen so much junk on the handlebars of a bicycle this side of a lowrider show.,,,,BD

Don't worry Bd,
I think that even without the ape hangers this bike will still "make all the other bikers way jealous.."

Did you call Jim to ask him what the bike was? Hopefully you'll get a better response, then when I emailed this one person about their ad last year. Old Schwinn bike $50. They couldn't even tell me what kind of bike it was. The tires are nice and squishy like a beach cruiser, was the only thing I could drag out of them over the course of a week. My question was..."Is it a mountain bike, road bike, beach cruiser, or what?" I think they picked a word out of my question, somehow got it right about the tires being soft for that model, and then stood there staring, unable to gather anything else that might help their cause.,,,,BD

This bright mind probably has all the local fixie riders sending copious hate mail his/her way, thanks to that title.

I have 2 bikes that i want to sell together preferably. Both bikes are Roadmaster. The first bike is mens 26" wheel and the second is weomens 24" wheels. Both for $80. I bought them about a year ago and don't use them much.

That's what I love about Craigslist . . . . . . in a pessimistic world, it's a home for absolute optimists. Well, isn't that a positive way of saying numbskull?
