Fenders arrived, hope to put them on this weekend. They are so light, tried my best to weigh them, front is just a hair under 140g and rear is close to 200g. Front fits with no issues (as expected), plenty of space.
Rear will need a bit of massaging to fit into chainstays bridge (or yok, whatever you call it), seatstays bridge - plenty of space, FD clearance - it looks like it will not need any crimping but won't know for sure until it is bolted in place

Honjo 63mm fit like a glove, no crimping required - front setup is Shimano CX70 (Ultegra) FD, 10S with Ultegra 6800 crank 46/34 and ultegra 6800 bb.

Very welcome! Just got back from first fendered ride, here are full bike pics. Only two things left to get: Porcelain Rocket Nigel handlebar bag (in the mail) and mudflaps (probably Brooks, will pickup from shop when in Toronto).
I am a bit of the fender nut and had many different kinds over the years on different bikes. So far very very impressed with Honjos - took a bit more time to install but I love the lightness, coverage and they just feel rock solid. Half of my ride today was mild singletrack with some root section and baby head stones - not a single rattle.

At least you won't lose the bike when you put it down somewhere!

Has anyone looked into what the max tire size is? I know it says that it is built around 700x45, but I was thinking of getting it with two wheel sets. One running 700x35 and another running 27.5x2.1. Anyone know if this would work?

Rim width, variance in tire width… A tire that measures 50mm at its widest spot will fit. I can’t measure every tire make and model, so I am unable to give you an absolute confirmation that the tire you want to run will fit. Figure on a 700c x 50mm or 650b x 50mm.
- 650b x 50mm? Yes, a 650b or 27.5″ tire with a 50mm width will work and can be a fun tire on this frame.

Its's been a while since I posted my MCD. Its childhood was quite turbulent - different builds and lots of riding. Teenage years were still with wild colors but as it is going to 2nd year of our life together - toned down a little bit.
Looks like it is settling in nicely to continue as fast, comfy and weatherproof rig. Pics from this morning wet ride with most of the bags off (it usually carries around 3).
Build before current - it had Shimano GXR 46/30 crank. And oh boy - functional, great range with 11x36 at the back and good quality but I just could not live with its looks, not the prettiest crank out there. So switched from 2x11 to 3x9 and finally all friction. And SunXCD RD found its way from parts bin to bike in active service. Front is now handled by Campagnolo double of unknown vintage.
