fiets r kewl! Dutch rap, and they even made the English subtitles rhyme. Now the tune is stuck in my head:

great town, great place to ride bikes, great video.

Is it just me that suffers from the 'velo-Venus' effect? ...when a pretty girl moves purposefully on a utility bike she transforms into a goddess.

It's a great city. The Dutch seem peculiarly civilised, in my experience, a very tolerant place. And a great place to start a cycle tour, which I intend to do next year. Fortunately I can get there by ferry overnight - no extra charge for the bike.

I don't understand the dutch at all.... how do they do all those cycle trips and not break a sweat. Yes I know its flat everywhere, but its flat where I live too, and after a few minutes its like Niagara Falls on my end...back, front, bum...yet they don't seem to break not even one sweat...genetics? I dunno
