Except for, aluminum cans, plastic milk jugs, certain types of clean glass, and certain types of clean cardboard, it all goes into the landfill here. If they can’t make money recycling something, it doesn’t happen. Never could recycle rubber, ever. Southeastern WI is no longer as flat as it once was.

The local fairgrounds used to take all of ours. They stretched them around their trash barrels to hold the trashbags in place.

Used Motor Oil

Around me, several shops have furnaces that burn used motor oil....not sure if that is particularly environmentally friendly.
