Odd bits in an old German patch kit
Any of you know what these two things do? The tube is hollow and made of a quite pliant rubber. Other than that, all I know is what you can see in the picture.

the hollow tube I think is to roll onver the patch to help seal it better. the alloy things may be to help you get a better grip on butterfly nuts but I would not bet on it

Yup. Its a replacement tube for the inside of a Woods,aka Dunlop valve. Lots of repair kits purchased in this country still come with a couple of those included.
