Tristan and I were trying to figure this out - Tristan had a private message from him last Wednesday but hadn't heard from him since. Again, I had read that he has a girlfriend - do you roomies know her or know of her?

Otherwise, it's a little disturbing that he hasn't shown up. I've looked in news articles and on the AP wire but no news of such.

Hope he turns up at some point.

Pretty sure, the bulls were at a down turned angle like his, it was the same size, and it was brakeless. I thought of stopping in to say howdy but had to get to work.

so he went missing for about four days before your friends saw him (which should confirm that he was okay after being missing), and now about four days later you think he might be gone for reasons beyond his control (health, kidnapping)? i don't know anything about this person, but it really sounds like he's ditched you, especially since the timing of his disappearance coincides neatly with rent being due. maybe he's ashamed of not making rent, and thought his stuff might be fair trade or decided not to come home until he has the rent money.

well that is what we were thinking. we thought maybe he couldnt make rent and has been avoiding home.
but we wish he could just call and let us know what is up. everyone including his family and friends are really stressed and worried about him.

this guy sounds like a dip sh*t. i say if you don't hear from him in a few more days throw all his crap out (or sell it and get some money back), change the locks, and tell the landlord that he skipped out and shouldn't be allowed back in the building. there is no valid excuse in this modern world that would suffice for not contacting you. after all, he did PM some people here, right?

He really is a nice kid. I'd like to know that the guy's alive.
Then you can call him whatever you want,
throw his stuff out, sue him, whatever.

Wow, now that brings back memories!

Apple 2e, floppy dics.

Dude, I loved Carmen but the best was huntin' game on Oregon Trail.

Ah, the memories. Grade school, Rodgers Park, Redline to Granville. Mom said don't walk down Winthrop Terrace. I still don't!

And dudes, Josh didn't seem like a flake. If he couldn't make rent I'm sure he can have a little garage sale to raise some cash.

PS - Is there a room for rent now? I'm solid w/ $ and I'm from the area. Seriously. PM me.

sorry if my previous comments were out of line, i was just kind of irked by some of the comments in the earlier thread. i hope the guy shows up safe and sound and i'd sure as hell be keeping an eye out for him if i lived in the city.

I don't know about anyone else, but I find this whole saga extremely amusing, almost to the point of absurdity. That is all.
