IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, JUST NEEDS TIRES, A LITTLE CLEANUP, & TUNE UP, AND MOST OF ALL TO BE RIDEN AND ENJOYED. THE ORIGINAL PAINT IS IN GOOD CONDITION CONSIDERING IT WAS MADE IN 1979. ALL PARTS ARE ORIGINAL AS I HAD IT CHECKED OUT AT A LOCAL BIKE SHOP.

IT HAS THE SCHWINN REAR RACK, CHROME FENDERS, AND THE NICE CHICAGO SCHWINN FRONT EMBLEM WHICH MEANS IT WAS MADE OF STEEL FROM CHICAGO. THE FRAME IS THE 4130 CHROME MOLLY FRAME AND AFTER CHECKING THE SERIAL # ON THE BOTTOM, IF I REMEMBER RIGHT IT SAID IT WAS MADE SOMETIME IN THE SUMMER OF 1979.

THIS IS A GREAT BIKE FOR A MINOR PROJECT WITH A CHILD OR FRIEND AS IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION BUT I KNOW A FEW BIKE ENTHUSIASTS WHO LOVE TO TEAR VINTAGE BIKES DOWN, CLEAN AND REPAIR THEM AND ENJOY REVISITING THEIR CHILDHOOD.

Definitely high for CL. It may be high for Ebay even with that really nice group. I'd love to find one of these frames in my size, but wouldn't pay his asking price.

Rare air on these I would say.

All I get from friends are blank stares when I mention these Ritcheys.

Most cross folks have no idea what they are.

I keep hoping one will fall into my lap, but the odds of that are poor at best.
