Fixed Gear/Track/Single Speed items Craigslist/eBay

Here's the dilly-
• Craigslist/eBay sales only
• No pushing your own wares
• Multiple users names to push own wares = no-no (see forum guidelines)
• Keep discussion to sale items via the above sites.

Stickys get overrun with a lot of extra chatter and make them harder to search. We all know each other here and do a good job at helping Track/Fixed Gear/Single Speed interested folks find what they need to get started.
This will be periodically cleaned of past auctions.

Thanks for contributing!

Why can't we "push" our own items?

Someones gonna post 'em (since I do sell some nice stuff), why can't it be me?!

Correct, at this time. Unless you have a red star, then you can go to the For Sale thread.

I just have one last question and I'll be done.

What happened to the sticky in the first place?

Why was it removed?

i don't see how anyone will be able to know with certainty if a CL posting belongs to the person who posts it here. i mean, one can infer, but...

too cluttered and full of old listings. A lot of irrelevant material (i.e.-sales) in comparison to valuable material. Starting anew is not such a bad thing.

i have one more question too, and then i'll be done as well:
what's the intent behind not letting people link to their own stuff on ebay/cl?
it's trivial to circumvent that rule (at least in this forum where we have a small, tightknit group), and it seems kind of arbitrary.

thanks

Jeez, I'll just wipe my feet on the American flag.

I think we should take this forum to satellite radio...then we can say whatever we want.

Us and Opie & Anthony (WOW)...how sweet would that be!

I wish we would have had some warning. There was still alot of pertinent information in the old thread that some of us may have still been depending on.

Besides, I liked how the old sticky said I was the author.

Tommasini TT pursuit frame:
https://www.craigslist.org/sfc/bik/67711696.html

Early to mid 90's (1993 i believe). Excellent condition. 56cm cc. Oria Tubing. 650c front fork. no headset or bottom bracket. Pearl white paint, with multi-colored graphics. chrome fork. internal routing cable routing. would make a great fixed gear, if one so chooses. nice chromed rear horizontal drop outs.

$300
