I watched all 49 YouTube minutes of the GoPro video from the guy who one the MegaAvalanche 2018 men’s Pro race. It was remarkable due to the high skill level to negotiate the terrain as the route descends into the valley.
The trick to this race is to get out front right away and not get caught up in the mass crashes.

I could see doing this DH run solo, nobody around. It might take me 6 hrs.

Megavalanche looks crazy. Blake Samson from GMBN took part in the event this year with a hardtail. The first 5 minutes everyone tries to stay upright, insane.
I find it interesting to see how those who fall over keep sliding down the glacier
