Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

sensor for Cateye Micro

I have a 10+ years old Cateye Micro CC-6000 computer, looks like the photo below. The cadence sensor no longer works. I really like the computer and would just like to replace the sensor. Anyone know where I can get one?

I've got the same computer. Still works great except the head contacts are worn and sometimes don't make a connection. You can ask CatEye... I'd be shocked if they have the sensor harness in stock though.

Well, what exactly is wrong with the sensor? Is it broken/twisted/gone? Or does it just not work.

First, cadence stopped working mysteriously.
Second, plastic clamp for cadence sensor broke off.
Third, wheel magnet plastic housing broke in half.
