Turkey day snow commute from hell PICS

I say not it was a blast.

Here is my commute home today. Sorry the pics are dark and the camera is old.

The road from hell

The last mile of hell

Two lanes now I got some room.

The start of coydog trail

The coydogs tried to eat for me supper here last year.

Many thanks Gojohnnygo for the pics.
I'm surprised you didn't get more snow. I live near the Utica/Rome area and it looks like we got as much snow as you! I'm just curious, what kind of bike are you riding?

During the 8:00am dusting I went out for a test run with my Trek 7100 hybrid. After many looks, I started to enjoy the ride. It felt like I was riding on silk.

Thanks again.

I was riding my old trek 4300 with no studs, as for the snow we had maybe 1" more at my house in Redford (13 miles west of Plattsburgh) In the high peaks I would say they got 4" to 8". The weather forecasters don't no $hit

Keep your studs on the ice and keep it safe,

Johnny

I'm always amazed the difference a few miles can make in the lake effect region. I live in Cleveland and my parents live 30 miles east of me. We got 3-4 inches Thursday and Friday my parents got 16-18. I didn't bike commute but did drive the minivan out to my parents. Lots of fun.
