I have a Miyata Alumitech 6700 with full Shimano Sante. It’s a little large for me. I’m on the lookout for a 56cm Trek Elance (dark blue, including head tube), Miyata 914 with snakeskin paint, or a Trek 2300 or 2500 - the carbon composite tube version. Can post pics when I get to 10 posts.

72-73 colnago
Ok here’s a long shot but let’s see if there’s someone else out there in my predicament. I just bought a 72-73 colnago super panto frameset. It’s absolutely gorgeous original red paint with chrome cast lugs. I think they only did this for 72-73. The bike is a bit too small for me but I loved the bike so much I had to buy it. My intentions are to just jack the seat up as high as possible or build it up for my son. Is there anyone else out there that has a 72-73 colnago super with og paint and no damage that’s a little to big for them and would trade for the same bike but smaller?

A large part of the problem, a common one on these forums, is that some of us are unnecessarily snarky and rude to an OP if he doesn't present his case just the way you think it should be. Some people see this as an opportunity to make others suffer because they are having a bad day . . . or their lives are just miserable daily. Others see it as an opportunity to show they're smarter than the OP. Yes, there's lots of reasons some of us choose to be an antagonist, and then you get all butt hurt when the OP responds similarly. Some of you start stuff then play innocent. Have a little respect and understanding of others issues before you put on your troll police badge, or get all flippant, snarky or sarcastic . . . those characteristics aren't funny, they're rude, and they're the kind of behavior that drives some of our newer members away. If some people can be polite, like @noglider's response above, why can't everybody?

Or - alternatively - the guy above made a post that wasn't going to be useful, he was, politely informed of a way to make it more effective, flipped out, made ****phobic comments (now edited), brought in political garbage (now edited), told the forum to "f off" and, for some reason, wasn't suspended?
I've been a member year for 10 years, and that's among the most ridiculous over reactions I have ever seen. I have never - not once - made a comment like this before, but, in this case, it's necessary. I have a 60s Carlton Corsa frame, cockpit and brakes in rough-ish shape, size 54cm. I'd love to trade it locally (Orange County, CA) for something tall (62cm-65cm) or for rad parts. :-)

Hi All, I stumbled across a nice condition 1983 Trek 520 in Gunmetal Blue yesterday. As much as I would like to ride this frame it is just a little too large for me (25.5"). I would be interested in a swap for something a few inches shorter, something in the neighborhood of 22"-23" seems to work for me. Doesn't have to be the exact same bike, just something of similar quality/weight.
Would also consider trade for some cranks/aluminum wheels I can use for my Motobecane. I can post pictures later when I get a chance but thought I would post in case someone is looking for something like this, a really nice riding and lightweight touring frame constructed from Reynolds 501 with manganese alloy fork and stays.

52.5cm 73 colnago super pantografata frameset
Hello I have a 73 colnago pantografata frameset with the chrome cast head lugs. I love this bike but unfortunately it’s too small for me. It’s 52.5cm. If anyone out there has a 70-73 colnago super between 56-58cm with original paint I’d like to find someone to trade with. Not looking to sell this. If I can’t find a trade I’ll build up for son. Would be open to trade for cinelli supercorsa, masi gran criterium but really would like a super same era in my size. Thx
