Good ol Jens is picking Terpstra in a breakaway win.
You know, its not to far fetched with so many sprinters out of the race. Not sure when the last time it happened, but maybe this time?
Then again, Jens always comes in last among the commentators on picks, soooo....

I don't think Sagan will win the sprint today, but he will be in the mix. Love the guy and I believe he added many fans over the last couple of days. It must have been one heckuva crash.
Sky has shown they are the most dominate team...again. I have no doubt in my mind how they are so dominate and I believe the stats back up my belief that the team is not clean. Winner of the last 6 of 7 TdF races (Froome crashed out in 2014 and Niboli won). There are so many similarities to Postal...disappointing.
Money trumps integrity with Sky and the UCI.

So now I can't wait for next year's tour. Will Froome and Thomas still be team mates? Any predictions
I do think Froome has one more tour win left in his legs, as long as he doesn't do the Giro...The guy is incredible and team Sky is highly organized, not to mention their budget....

Sam Bennett injured himself on the first stage in the 2016 TdF but struggled on to complete and even sprinted in Paris to finish 9th on the stage. He was last on GC for pretty much all the race and I remember people made fun of him at the time on here, but then he's not American.
BTW Bennett won three stages in this year's Giro. I hope to see him sprinting in the Vuelta.

It may seem unlikely to you but it happened. I was assured at the time when I brought it up that 'it wasn't to be taken seriously, just the guys joking'. I'll spell out my 'crack' ..if Bennett had been an American like Craddock (who I admire) he'd have been hailed as a hero but because he wasn't he was fair game to be made fun of.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
I was going to put Nibali out there for La Vuelta but he went under the knife.
I think Richie shows up and rides a MAGNIFICENT 7 to 13 stages before an epic but predictable exit.
Bernal stretches his legs, shows his youth, but shows his potential.
Look for Miguel Angel Lopez, maybe Oomen, and on the lunatic fringe George Bennett to mix it up with some motivated re-treads from Le Tour. Pinot, where for art thou?

can't wait for the vuelta. such a frankentour. kinda like the original master tape of the who's "baba o' riley." like 2000 edits/splices. so many guys riding for next year and trying to pull a kristoff
and salvage their entire season in one, brief shining moment. the successful/big guys (this year) are like "ah hell naah" and the what have you done for me lately (sorry, janet) bros...well the
power of merckx, hinault, kelly, bahamontes, talansky compels them to mix it up one last grande effort. you were pissy about sky's dominance/control of the tdf? watch the vuelta for the antidote.
