[QUOTE=Paiamarvin;20693012]Battery is a 52v 13.5ah rectangle purchased from Luna Cycles in El Segundo CA .. the battery box is just square PVC that I got at the local Home Depot and modified it to fit the frame.. Still going strong.. Last update was a RocK Shox fork (not pictured) .. That was a huge improvement!

I have a base model Montague para.
Beware of clones, off brands , rebadges and discounted frames are often not from the original vendor/creator, and have variable quality, with similar looks.
Having a vbrake original and comparing it to my Dahon matrix, 20"Dahon and Downtube foldies., it is a mediocre bike.
Fold mech is rigid, suspension and remainder of bike are better than Wallyworld BSO clones, but not inspiringly so .
Rides like a 25 year old 26"MB
My biggest complaint is that it doesn't fold very flat, more a collapsible than a folding bike. Like a Dahon only even more interference from the fact the pivot is in the mainline and close to BB
, not offset like the hinged dahon or Brommie, such that it V folds rather than l_l folds, the front frame widly splayed from interference with the rear. Plus front wheel has to come off for any real reduction in size. Running gear is not especially well protected.
You need a clear sense of mission for foldy compromises in cost, weight, rigidity and ride to pay off.
I am not sure what this bike's mission is, other than making itself 2' shorter. You can do a lot of that just removing a front wheel on a non foldy

Don't know what year of production but it's still available in Malaysia. Probably made in China. Well most other popular brands sold here are China made too.

Having one and a Matrix before giving the whole idea up,
I find no real purpose for this bike.
And I am up to 24 in the stable.
and even a BF Satrday has more reason to exist
There are a lot of bad ideas out there, God bless'em
