Size 56, paint is amazing for an 80’s Cannonball, but some chipping here and there.
No frame damage, not a dent or a ding, fork is straight as an arrow.

Components are are original equipment, including the wheels, and saddle. It came to me without pedals and I’ve got a pair of black anodized Suntour Sprint track pedals on there now that would have come on the bike from the facory. Not pictured but they are in nearly new condition as befitting the rest of this show horse.

These old Cannondale frames where hand welded, so they have some small variations...
This one will JUST barely fit 28mm tires! It’s close, and I imagine not all 28’s will fit, but it can be done.
Located in Chicago.

I need to check the serial number to nail down the year...

Nice. How bad is the scuff on the Cinelli saddle?

It’s a light scuff, it hasn’t abraded through the perforated leather layer, I’ll grab a snapshot when I get home from visiting the east coast.

When I got the bike, I put the saddle in a drawer and I’ve been riding it with a cut down brooks to preserve that saddle.

What tires do you have on there, I kind of like the tread pattern. I wish my C’dale was a 56.

True! And good eye! Those were the 23mm tires I had first put on, before trying to go larger. The close ups in the last pictures are from a different day, different tire.

I have three original '87 BLs (54, 56, & 58cm). The most I paid is $540 and the least I paid was $375. V/r Shawn
