1974 Schwinn Voyageur



0674 June 1974?(1973 in title is typo) Japanese? Brake levers, tires, Tailwind panniers added at some point, otherwise everything OEM? 63cm. Value? its in SoCal

General Info on Schwinn Voyageur Touring Bikes

As far as I know all vintage Voyageur & Voyageur SP frames were sourced from Panasonic in Japan, but the later years (1986-1991) might have been sourced elsewhere.

If built by Panasonic it will have a Panasonic serial number on the lower head tube.

There's your Panasonic serial number in the pics! It's probably extremely similar or identical to the Panasonic PT 3500. I had one go through my hands. That fork crown looks as I remember the Panasonic's, as well as the absence of a front rack braze in middle of fork blade. The guy who bought it carried on about that. :-). I'd say it is a nice vintage touring bike.

You'd think those tailwind bags would add more to the price. I'd go with the lower price ($350).
