swapped my lens

been using an original Magicshine light for a long time. cpl years ago tried a wide angle diffuser with a home made beam cutoff hood. it's been great. lately I've been riding at night off road so decided to put the original clear lens back on for more punch thru the darkness. in my haste this morning, I couldn't find it, despite seeing it recently while going thru my stuff. I have a cpl more places to look. but I did find that cheap knockoff which had bad battery wires. I kept the light head & now glad I did. while they don't use the exact same lens part it fit well enough to try tonight. in the meantime I've ordered a cpl of the original replacements here in case that's helpful for anyone else

this pic is before the swap. I've also removed the beam cutoff hood cuz I have an upgrade in mind

EDIT: worked fine but the fit wasn't exact so the lens rattled for the whole ride. I can probably mess with the o-rings, etc but glad I ordered the correct replacement, so I'll just wait for that
