Bontrager Quantum MIPS Fit System Replacement

I have a 2017 Bontrager Quantum MIPS helmet that has a broken adjustment dial. I believe this is known as the Fit System - the dial that tightens or loosens the fit of the helmet. Regardless, I found what appears to be a replacement part online but was wondering if others have had experience trying to swap out this part in their helmets. Any special tools or other issues to consider?

Sorry if this is a duplicate thread but I didn't see one with a keyword search. Thanks

You might want to check with Bontrager and find out if any diy repairs voids any /all warranties.

The helmet was out of warranty but the Bontrager online rep was very helpful in finding the correct replacement part. A local bike shop had it in stock and it was easy to install.

It's hard to argue with success. Kudos to you.
