Off to the bike path !
Today after work it was off to the local bike path for a nice out and back ride. It's not a long bike path around 6 miles, but it does get me away from the steel bulls. I also knew that being the hottest part of the day the bike path would be pretty empty.

The Louisville Loop-in the east end, is not too far from me. And some sections are relatively flat while others have some hills. Paved, no motorized vehicles (other than the occasional e-bike). Fairly decent shade in most sections. The east end sections are 20 miles from one end of the park to the other. Eventually it is supposed to encircle Louisville and be a 100 mile loop. In heat such as is on us now, it can be a good diversion-no cars, decent scenery, and some shade are good ingredients for a ride on a hot day.
