Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Specialized Power Expert or Power Pro?

Looking to upgrade my Toupe saddle with a little better quality saddle. I’ve landed on the specialized power saddle due to it being a little shorter nosed. Has anyone ran specialized saddles with level 1 vs level 2 padding? I’m concerned with the comfort.

I went from a Toupe to a Specialized Power Expert and LOVE IT, could not give it better reviews.

I went from A Power Expert to A Power Pro I didn't get along with the #1 padding on the pro. If you prefer less pressing the Pro will provide that. I love the Power Expert.

I too didn't care for the Level 1 seats, using a Level 2 value and liking it. I just thought the level 1 was too rough for me personally.

I ride the sworks version, which has lvl 1 padding and I have no complaints. I rode the pro version before, which also has lvl 1 and it worked just the same. I typically only do "training" rides for an hour or two with no discomfort. I have no complaints about the saddle.

I appreciate the feedback! I think I’m going to try the expert first, then if that doesn’t work step up to the s-works( because it comes in Red!).
