Here's the advertisement showing that the Carbon Ironman was outfitted with 600 ultegra tricolor (including BB, however the headset was Centurion labeled not 600). The Carbon-R was outfitted with dura ace @RobbieTunes @fleslider

Of course, now I can geek on having a "DA bike."
(Carbon-R) that came with DA and still has DA, albeit 9000 vs. OEM 7400.
So, now, per another ad, I'm a "serious" road cyclist.
That's pretty funny....or sad...pick one.

He showed the catalog, though, and it clearly states 600/Ultegra on "the Carbon," and shows a picture of it, underway.

89 Expert . Wow what a difference
My 89 Expert with Suntour GPX components has been very loud shifting since I've gotten, which I read was common.I took the advice of membar Canklecat
and replaced the freewheel with a sunrace R30 and the chain with a KMZ-72 chain and man what a difference. I shift now and about all I hear is the click of the shifters.

A couple of weeks ago I switched back to a Suntour freewheel, 13-26, for a little extra help on climbs. It works okay but doesn't shift as smoothly as the SunRace freewheel. I might eventually switch to a 13-28 SunRace MFM30. I have one on the Trek and it works well too.

The Centurion Carbon Ironman and Carbon-R both used a 25.0 seatpost. However, I'm not sure which brand was oem.

@RobbieTunes may have one for sale as his Centurion Carbon just bit the dust. However not sure what brand it is. Also @Danbianchi881 has a Centurion Carbon that has the oem seatpost so he could tell you.

The carbon Centurion is toast, head tube upper lug split, which caused the lugs upper and lower to separate from the frame. As it's bolted together, it did not come apart, but the shimmy shimmy coco baca was puckering.
Now dumpstered. No worries.
I still have an '84 Turbo (frame, may sell it), '84 Comp TA, '85 Equipe, '89 Ironman (Hard Rock), and an '89 Turbo TT/funny bike (for which the wheels are now done, so I can build it).

I haven't forgotten you, just crazy busy at work....and waiting for a certain bike from France, which is now ready for pickup tomorrow.
