Hello Friends,
From my rather limited knowledge, and preliminary research, I have determined that "I believe" this to be a 1976 Motobecane Grand Jubile. Any experts here care to weigh in on this determination? Mostly Sun-Tour parts, which, as far as I can tell were original. Seat isn't original....

This thread has a link to the 1976 catalog you might find useful. FWIW, I have a '78 Motobecane Jubile and it is an awesome bike. I stashed the original cranks, derailers, shifters, etc. and am running it as a singlespeed. I can always rebuild it. The paint on mine is extremely nice and there is zero rust, so I was lucky to find it.

Yes, in my previous research, I looked at the VeloBase scanned catalogs. The bike I found seems to match the one (in terms of color and Suntour components) from the '76 cat. That's in part what I based my guess on - that plus pictures of several other bikes from the era that had different color schemes, and were from other years... I doubt that's scientific, but probably puts us in the ballpark. There are lots of chips in the paint on this one here and there. I might get out the Testors' model paint if I feel especially energetic some day. As opposed to the bike in the thread you linked, I have Suntour Cyclone derailleurs, but the cat says either StCyclone or Hurets are possible.
