Phone mount
any recommendations for a stable phone mount ? I have a Comax Anyroad and iPhone plus. Or should I look at a top tube bag?

I use Quad Lock phone mounts. They work great and keep the phone securely in place.

I used a phone mount before but it got to where it wouldn't be tight enough, and going down a bumpy road I noticed my phone sliding downward with each bump which it would have eventually fallen out. Then on one ride it did actually fall out (luckily no damage to the phone) so I nixed the mount for a top tube bag. I really like that much better since I can not only carry my phone in it but also my keys, wallet, Clif bar, or whatever.

touch sensitive window material in the top of the bar bag https://www.bikeshophub.com/product/...-m-p-3199.html
so you can leave the phone in the top of it. + its a handlebar bag to bring stuff.

I've been using this for the past 2-3 years on my road bikes. No problems.

I was looking at that quad lock one. It appears to be pretty good. I was thinking a bag but wasn’t sure if you could still use the touch screen through the bag. I might look that direction

I ordered one of the Quad Locks yesterday for Samsung S8+ but don't think has that mounting bracket. An add on item? Hope works well because not cheap. My phone went tumbling out of my IOttie on a rails to trails so need something better

I use this, but without the handle bar clip. It fastens directly on the stem. It's cheap, sturdy and light. Because my case is hard rubber on the lower half and soft rubber on the upper half (Otterbox Commuter), it has trouble holding the phone tight with its top hooks so I wrapped a 1/8" wide piece of inner tubing around the two top hooks to secure my phone and slide my phone within the rubber band. Didn't need the rubber band when I had a hard case, the hooks were sufficient.

Quad lock are awesome, and if you have a plus sized phone, good luck finding a top tube bag that will fit it.

I have a question about Quad Locks. I have a Samsung S6 in an Otter Box. Since you must attach something to the back of the phone, won't that preclude using the induction charger without removing the phone from the Otter Box for each charge?

Quad Lock kits come with a touch-sensitive cover for the phone as well. The arrangement is waterproof. I used it on a tour along Hadrian’s Wall, and it rained for three days straight. The Quad Lock case kept my phone perfectly dry.

Does anyone know of a good quality phone mount for a Galaxy S5 with a thick heavy case? I'm using a ZeroLemon case which has 3 batteries in it.

Been using a Morpheus Labs M4s. It's one of the systems that requires you to use their case, but I have been very happy with the case so far and the mounting mechanism is recessed. The mount itself has been great so far:
