I've used them. It has the flat protection layer of the Gatorskin and mine had the Black Chili tread compound. Like most road bike tires with flat protection, the ride is a little stiffer and there is some rolling resistance. However, mine were good to use for fitness rides and century rides. Mine were also durable for 2500 miles until the sidewalls became damaged.
