Wiring charger.....

Hi all

I have 26" 48v 1000w and a charger for 48v , my battery is 4x12v 8ah in series..

I don't want to disconnect power from control box and just plug the charger to the battery Can I ..Please help me to wiring.....Many Thanks..

If this is a lead acid battery setup, you simply splice in another wire in parallel with either the wire that attaches the power to the controller or the power output wire from the battery, put on a connector that matches the one on the charger, and then you can charge with the battery mounted on the bike.

Lithium a different story as it will normally have a separate charge and discharge ports.

Hi
So you mean just add one pair of wire,one for negative - one for positive wire into battery terminal....so use this to connect to charger for charging....sorry my english is poor...I'm the new electric bike....Thank you.
