Charles Princep AKA B.F. member Shiznaz R.I.P.

Many folks on this board have had spirited discussions with Shiz. His irreverent wit and sarcasm ruffled a few feathers and made people laugh at the same time. After a long arduous trip across the Western U.S. and most the way through Canada our pal Charlie was run down by a selfish and unconcerned drunk driver in Manitoba. He will be terribly missed by those who knew him and a loss for those who didn't get the chance to get to know him. His family is no doubt devastated by their loss. To anyone who cares to send some messages of condolence you may do so in the comments section of Charlies travel blog at https://thedoublecross.blogspot.com/

Thread stuck until Sunday, August 19th so people who knew of him on here are aware of his passing - pitboss

I was really hoping the thread title was a joke I didn't get. Shiz was one of my favourite personalities here.

Condolences to his family and friends.

Charlie was a great guy. He didn't take **** from anyone, but he'd bend over backwards to help when you needed it. I'm sure we all had moments where we thought "I can't believe he said/did that", but it didn't matter. He seemed to be a perpetually happy guy (other than when dealing with insane cabbies) and it was infectious. It's such a cliché to say, but I'm left even more saddened by the fact that someone so young/smart/healthy has once again been wiped off the planet.. let alone that it was caused by some drunk ignorant **** who probably got off without a scratch.

RIP Charlie.

Ride safe and keep an eye over your shoulder everyone. ZERO tolerance for drinking and driving.. yourself, your friends, your family, strangers, it doesn't matter. It's *never* worth it.

He was indeed an awesome individual. I'm going to miss him. He was one of those characters that made you smile. My thoughts to his family, I can't imagine what you're going through. To be taken away like this is going to cause much anger in the next little while. This is not fair by any stretch of the imagination. He was indeed too young, and to be hit by some drunk driving **** of a human being.

What can I say, I'm so sick of the "he died doing what he loved" cliche but here it is again.

R.I.P. Charlie, I admired you while you were here and I'm sad you're gone.
